Why Should I Share My Ideas?

Good question, isn’t it?

I think there is a certain amount of insecurity in all of us as we become entrepreneurs, marketers and business people. We’ve got a solid idea for marketing a business online, its not contrived or false plus its proven itself over time because it’s made the business and ourselves some money–but we refuse to share it.

I can’t give my techniques away because everyone will jump on it, spam yet another channel and my great run will be over…

By sharing our ideas and successes we accomplish two things, we define and strengthen friendships with the individuals we help and secondly we open the doors to new ideas. By sharing and developing other ideas we become proficient in the process of generating more ideas and for individuals like ourselves, ideas are our livelihood.

Seth explains the second half of this very well in his post about sharing ideas.

People who share their ideas go farther in life because they give and release their ideas to the world. This is why so many of the talented people who make a living will offer of themselves.

They know that such kindnesses can only come back to them in its own time and they just might share their ideas with someone who can take those ideas well beyond what they imagined. Removing the work of learning how to execute it yourself.

I chose to take up the project of redesigning Live Your Best Life and a website to go with it is because I realized after two years, I have something to give back. I have experience, ideas and as always a lot of heart.

My intent is to create something much more than just a blog loosely based on personal growth and network marketing. I wanted to create a resource as well as a place where I could share my experiences and ideas with the mission of empowering those who wish to build a business in the network marketing industry.

Establishing and sustaining a stable business is a great deal of work and I aim to show people the tools which have worked for me.
