Why Do You Join?

What causes you to join a specific company?

I see a revolution beginning. People all over the globe are returning to an ideal, a way of life in which they have freedom of choice, work and play. They are their business, brand and have taken the responsibility of maintaining their own sources of income.

Large companies are downsizing and the home-based entrepreneur is rising up.

Common reasons are (blue indicate my reasons):

  • Relationship with Sponsor
  • Compensation Plan
  • Joining a Team
  • Company Training & Ethics
  • Passion for Product and Industry
  • Making Money
  • Existing Systems and Models

Everyone’s reasons are different.

All of them relevant.

Which one is relevant to you?

PS: Don’t see anything which strikes a chord with you in the list? Comment below and share your reasons.

PSS: For that matter, if you want to share your thoughts on this subject, leave a comment. I love hearing from you all.

  1. Tim, you might want to read my post today. We have chatted about direction and finding the keys that connect the hallways.

I have been becoming aware that it is a potential strength that I find companies interesting that have a problem I can chew on and create a solution for. (sorry about the ending preposition).

  2. I think people start looking because of financial reasons or because of a desire to help or lead people.

Then people join YOU - not your company, they join you - because of proven systems and because their relationship with their sponsor.

I’m new to your blog, but on a side note… Both of your “Tim’s picks” are great systems. Magnetic Sponsoring and MFF have really impressed me.

  3. Welcome to to my blog Jean and I’m glad you like my choices.
