Mother cracks me up.

The other day, I called her to talk for a bit.

Instead of her usual ‘you could call or visit more often’ speech right out the gate she greeted me by saying: So, how is the world traveler?

I just laughed and told her that wasn’t quite accurate, not yet.

That was a couple months ago. Time certainly flies.

Now. Today is the day.

In a few short hours I will be making the 45 minute drive to Minneapolis, where I will spend the night at my sisters and catch the first plane to Atlanta Weds. morning.

From there I’ll arrive in Daytona Beach.

Once I arrive I’ll have the opportunity to kick back and enjoy the rest of the day. Then Tom and I are off to Port Canaveral where we will board the Carnival Sensation the following day.

I’ll be returning on the 14th but I will have an article or two queued up for you while I’m gone. Since I have decided to stay away from the computer any comments will be handled once I have returned home so please don’t be alarmed if they haven’t been approved right away.
