The Secret to Network Marketing Growth
Filed under: fear, mentality madness, introversion, network marketing, internet marketing, search marketing, self realization, personal growth
Is there such a thing? Yes and No.
All the internet channels are clogged with people talking about how they know of the latest and greatest method for explosive growth. Everyone of them has a claim to fame. Something along the lines of, “I made XXXX.XX a month by using this system and I couldn’t be happier! My team is growing, my income is growing and … WOW!”
Testing and trying all of the different systems you come across is an important part of building your business.
Obviously, developing discernment in regards to which ones you actually purchase is also important. But the system itself isn’t going to do anything for you if you aren’t doing the one thing which will grow your business.
You probably already know what I’m going to say or you think you know and you’re hoping that I don’t.
Well, its true … and actually, in a round about way I’ve already told you.
Two things are highly responsible for your success:
Study - I tend to harp on the instant gratification sickness which has a hold of all us but it will always remain true. Time and putting effort into trying different methods, reading or attending seminars–finding ways to grow will always generate more interest in you and your business than the latest and greatest Internet Marketing Myth Buster.
Persistence - No form of business or generating money is ever easy. Rare is the occasion when someone breaks into something like Network Marketing and makes it big in a matter of days, weeks or a couple months. It can happen, but for the majority of the population its going to take time, effort and bucket lots of tenacity.
Remember the old Wendy’s commercials. The ones featuring a trio of elderly ladies and the now famous line “Where’s the beef!?”. The object of the commercial is to motivate potential customers to come and try a Wendy’s burger and see they do indeed have more meat to their sandwiches.
That is exactly, what goes through my mind when I contrast a successful networker with the fly-by-night individual who decides to wing it and then give up when the glorified ’strategies’ didn’t work.
Where’s the real investment?
Where is the meat of your growth?
Exploration is the name of the game and a kind of blind persistence. Meaning that even during the rough patches, when things don’t seem to be going well, when you don’t have leads coming in, or your friend has just put down your efforts–keep moving forward.
Liz Strauss put it beautifully in an email to me just yesterday.
Joy.
Peace.
Aspiration.Aspire means to breathe toward. . . .
As always she has a wonderful way with words.
The Aspirations are a part of a continued, always evolving journey. The money comes as a byproduct of the growth along with the joy and peace the growth produces. If you aspire to be successful in any business model, don’t fall prey to the get rich mentality. It doesn’t work, and it doesn’t happen.
Prepare for a remarkable journey and you’ll never regret it. Take it from someone who’s been on the journey for awhile now. I don’t regret it even in the slightest.
