Network Marketing Journey

Desire is a funny thing.

We’ll bus tables on weekends, purchase leads, put up flyers and even create custom T-Shirts to garner attention to our business. I’ve seen some fun and some very outrageous, borderline techniques in my time (Listen to me, talking like an old time networker already).

Everyone has their own methods but when I began in network marketing I had a gut feeling. I hated the idea of creating a list of friends and family with the soul purpose of trying to recruit them. In fact I refused to do it and to this day I have not nor will I ever create a list.

I knew that I needed a system, a way to bring leads to me and become the hunted instead of being the hunter, as Mike Dillard would put it.

My blogs were the beginning and that was certainly beginning to work for me, Matt Jamieson was already taking notice of me long before I was even introduced to him (later mentored by him). However I still wasn’t satisfied. I wasn’t getting the kind of response, nor the traffic I knew I was capable of attracting.
