Kids Get Fit and Learn Life Lesson from Goo Goo Dolls

A year ago, Stephanie Riggs held a casting call for local children who wanted to improve their health. Concerned about the rise in childhood obesity and the problems it causes for kids, she devised a program in which the youths would work with a variety of coaches to get exercise, learn to make nutritious food choices and build confidence in themselves.
“Fitting In,” airs 7-8 a.m. Saturday June 14th on ABC Family accross the country except for Mountain Time, where it will be aired from 5-6 a.m. (Denver Comcast channel 33).
