How full is your perspective?

Everyone has their own perspective on life.
You do.
I do.
There was a time when my perspective focused on the empty part of my glass. So many years had past and I wasted them. I wasn’t getting anywhere and I wallowed in it. ‘Life sucks’ and ‘Love Bites’ seems to be a rather popular way of thinking these days.
Quite a few days back Terry Starbucker tagged me asking some specific questions falling in line with these thoughts:
Q: How full is your glass?
A: Half Full!
Q: What kind of glass is it?
A: Tall frosty root beer mug
Q: What’s in the glass?
A: Root beer, of course!
Q: Reasons for #1, #2, and #3
A: Life is to short to spend it focusing on the past, allowing circumstance to lead you through life–come what may. It makes for a disappointing life. So I adopted a new perspective, the half full perspective and focusing on what I have and not what I wish I had or things I could have done.
I chose the frosty mug because the external world is harsh and cold but it’s what lays inside which matters most. Never the outside. You determine for yourself how the outside world affects you and I choose to see and be thankful for what I have first and foremost.
Lastly, nothing tastes better in a chilled root beer mug than A & W Root Beer and I have pleasant memories of this from my youth.
So, now I’m tagging YOU.
If you feel so inclined, please feel free to share your answers to the questions above. I’d love to hear from you.
