Find Your Genius to be Outstanding
Filed under: self realization, personal growth, uncategorized
Over the past few months I’ve been thinking a lot about a concept Robert Kiyosaki describes as finding your genius. Meaning, the discovery of where your passions AND your lie. Finding out what your special talents are and leading with those things because they are a part of who you are.
For example, my genius resides in the field of writing, motivating and inspiring people. These are my gifts and thus, they are my genius.
There is one other thing I’ve spent time contemplating these days and it has to do with finding ways to be outstanding in a given field. I like the word outstanding for two reasons. First of all, its not an overly used word and it has a clear meaning. Being outstanding equates to standing out. Get it?
Tonight as glanced over my emails I discovered an email from a friend. He was telling me about a video he saw and it peaked my interest. Watching that video is what prompted me to write these thoughts and I’m going to share the video with you.
If you want to see an example of someone who knows their genius and is outstanding, I recommend you click through and watch this video of Dan Dunn’s PaintJam.
