Don’t think. Take Action.

You’ve got yourself a bright and shiny new goal. The blood is pumping through your vains and you’re stoked! Every part of your being says that this time you’re going to to stick to it and nothing is going to stop you.

Then its only a matter of time and you find that passionate feeling begin to ebb away and eventually it’s gone completely.

To often we get caught up in the analysis paralysis syndrome of what ifs and planning.

Stop it.

Planning is great, and its essential but you don’t need to form the long term plans before you begin. You can develop a plan AFTER you’ve begun. The first step in maintaining the motivation is to define what you can do immediately to start towards your goal–and then do it. Don’t think about it. Don’t plan for it.

Lets say you’ve decided to start eating healthier. You’re first step could be to walk straight to the kitchen and get rid of all the tempting junk foods.

Starting to get the idea? Joe Vitale and The Secret talk about taking action as well. Its within you. If the nudge is there. Take action.

Action creates motivation and in turn motivation will create further action.

  1. yeah!! it’s in your descipline!!! make your you got the right motivation on your self and make sure to create your goal!!!

  2. You got it. Its not that people aren’t setting a goal when they set out to do something. The problem rests in the fact that no matter how much you visualize, no matter how much you emit a ‘thank you’ and ‘I love the world’, attitude–you still have to take steps towards those goals. Action cannot be taken out of the equation.
