Blogging Memoirs - Why Blogging?

Over the last couple weeks I’ve been tagged by some terrific individuals. All of them asking a single question. Why do you blog? I haven’t forgotten those requests but I have to admit, I didn’t know exactly how I would answer the question.
Why Do I Blog…
In the beginning I started blogging because it was suggested to me as a means of marketing and networking. Being new to network marketing and the business world in general I was finding it hard to find my place.
The suggestion made sense and I was open to trying anything that would help me build my business. I didn’t realize writing here at Live Your Best Life was to be as much if not more of an experience of building within me, as it has been for my business.
This leads me to my second reason for blogging. My passion and love for writing has grown over the last year and I enjoy sharing my thoughts and ideas with the world. Literally. Its a bit of an ego thing (yep, I have one too), but there is an enticement to being heard by thousands on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
Thirdly, blogging has helped me to develop and clarify my thoughts and process the changes that have been happening in me. When I started blogging I was just beginning to discover so many things and had no dreams or passion for life. That has all changed and I truly believe that having written down my thoughts, dreams and goals (here and throughout the blogosphere) has helped me visualize them–make them happen.
Remember that you are what you think you are, not what you eat. ;)
Finally, I enjoy helping people. You could say that this goes along with being heard and you could even say its an ego boost but I do enjoy it. Helping others discover who they are and what they want has rewards unlike any other.
And that is why I blog, in a nutshell.
