Becoming a Network Marketing Professional
Filed under: network marketing, internet marketing, search marketing
I had to develop myself and become a networking professional.
Network Marketing attracts many types of people but the larges group of people attracted to the industry are people like myself. We are average people who have (or had if you’ve become successful) no experience in business, marketing or what it means to be a professional home business owner.
The truth is, if you don’t have experience with these things you also will need to put the time and effort into acquiring the needed skills.
Because most of us come to this industry at a time when we are in dire need of money and/or change we get caught in the “I want mine, gimme more” way of thinking. Joining a network marketing company means you have taken a step towards starting a business but it doesn’t happen automatically and you’ll have to work towards those dreams of time and financial freedom.
I chose to press forward because the pain of staying in my situation was far greater than the difficulties and expesses involved in changing direction.
It comes down to making a choice.
You either chose to move forward and make the necessary changes OR you don’t and you remain stationary.
From the very beginning, I knew that I had a lot of work to do on myself before I would become successful in network marketing. Being an introvert, and having had issues which caused me to isolate myself from much of the world meant I would have to get comfortable being about people.
I’d have to get over my fear of the phone.
I’d have to learn how to build a successful organization.
I’d have to learn how to each everyone who chose to work with me.
And I’d also have to learn how to market my business both online and off.
Are you willing to do that?
If you are I’m going to give you the secret to my continuing success.
I never complained, whined or blamed anyone for any of the circumstances which have come and gone over the last 2 years. The only person responsible for my life is me. And the same goes for you.
You’ve got to be willing to do everything it takes if you want to be successful. Its as simple as that.
So here’s the bottom line…
DON’T EVER… think you can’t do it or that you don’t have the proper personality type to be successful in network marketing.
Don’t ask me if I can promise you’ll make your investment back with interest if you sign up. This is entirely up to you.
DON’T EVER blame your upline or anyone else in your team for the stagnation of your organization.
DON’T EVER whine or complain when a prospect rejects your weak phone call.
Don’t EVER ask me if there’s a magic pill that will change your life.
Why?
As Mike Dillard stated recently:
BECAUSE IT’S JUST PLAIN INSULTING TO THOSE OF US WHO PAID THE PRICE. STOP MAKING EXCUSES AND DO THE SAME.
Success is not the result of luck or an accident.
Success is not fast.
Success is the culmination of countless failures and endless hours of study.
But most of all… Success is worth the sacrifice.
Everything you need to create and live your best life is already within you. There is no room for making excuses, you do what it takes OR you don’t.
Only one question remains. Which are you going to chose?

Good Stuff Tim!
This is where the rubber meets the road. I had to face up to those same realities myself.
Keep On Keeping On Tim, DP
