Are You Laboring Under Correct Knowledge OR Expecting To Get Lucky?

Since I began this journey of getting to know myself I’ve realized that I’m a very introspective person. Which makes sense because I’m also an introvert. Introverts by nature like spending time delving within.

This explains my love for revealing questions.

Are you Laboring Under Correct Knowledge OR expecting to get Lucky?

This question is no different.

When we hear about someone who’s had a bit of success or even a string of successes which has set them apart from the crowd–we often offset their hard work by stating they were LUCKY. The truth is they’ve grown to be the person who could handle those circumstances and they manifested it by taking action.

There is luck and then there is L.U.C.K. This is where I get my question. L.U.C.K. stands for laboring under correct knowledge and anyone who has had any measure of real success has learned to obtain and apply this kind of luck.

We are the culmination of our efforts invested in our growth.

Successful people know the people we surround ourselves with, the books we read and choices we make have a direct affect on who we will become in the future.

I love reading books. Throughout my first year in network marketing, if I wasn’t spending time with mentors or taking action on their teachings I was reading. Every chance I had, I would stick my nose in a book, even if it was just for 5 minutes.

Small Part of My Investment in Myself - Part of My First Year Library

This picture is probably about half of the library I consumed in that first year.

But I Don’t Enjoy Reading

Thats just fine. There are plenty of seminars, webinars, audios, and more for you to digest the kinds of information and inspiration you need to spur your growth.

The Paradigm Shift

The point I’ve been wending my way to is that we need to grow if we want to achieve. It doesn’t just happen by happenstance. This is why it is so imporant for you to invest in yourself. It sounds cliche but its so true. When you place a higher importance on growing as a person the return on investment will be far beyond what you imagined.

Not only will you grow in the areas you study but doors will open in all areas of your life and you’ll begin to discover things about yourself you didn’t even know. Finding passions, joy and happiness where you least expected it and thats something everyone wants–the freedom to be happy.
